Nevada County Real Estate trends in 2016
Nevada County Real Estate is always exciting but this year is shaping up to be a great one! We are seeing an increase in sales across the board and interest rates are still low.
Selling Property in Nevada County
Inventory is also low so if you are looking to sell Nevada County Real Estate, now is an excellent time to do so. With so few properties on the market, it can give you more of a competitive edge when selling your home.
Buyers are actively searching for all types of Nevada County real estate from the gorgeous Victorians and bungalows in Nevada City, to the spectacular farm and equestrian properties in Penn Valley. Grass Valley has seen a surge in sales as well with the wonderful vintage homes, and the newer neighborhood style homes as well.
Selling property in Nevada City, Grass Valley or Penn Valley still requires marketing of the home, and each area benefits from it’s own style. I use a variety of marketing techniques and am an expert in all of the areas and types of real estate we have to offer here.

We truly do have something for just about anyone!
For example, Lake Wildwood is generally marketed towards people looking for a lifestyle filled with lake sports like water skiing and boating, park activities like pickelball and the playgrounds, and various clubs like chess, tennis and more.
Penn Valley enjoys a lot of equestrian themed activities and offers some of the most spectacular horse and farm properties to be found.
The Nevada City lifestyle is geared more towards nightlife and the arts, while Grass Valley boasts plenty of Wine Tasting rooms as well as business and shopping.
All of these areas include a cross section of Victorians, farms, bungalows, vacant land and neighborhood living.
We have some fantastic developments as well! Morgan Ranch is wonderful with it’s wide streets, manicured lawns, and easy access to schools, the hospital, and shopping.
The Cedars has a very upscale feel with custom homes boasting beautiful stonework, gorgeous tree cover, and quiet and peaceful streets.
There are many more options if you are looking for a neighborhood feel.
As I stated earlier, inventory is a bit low right now, so please sign up for my New Listing Notifications so you can be one of the first to see when a property matching your criteria hits the market.
